In-Person Event

OFFERED through The Fellowship of Arts & Mysteries as a non-diploma-track, self-paced series of private lessons to adult and teen learners in the broader community who are interested in the ancient art of making bespoke shoes. These lessons give casual learners the opportunity to receive instruction in traditional techniques of shoe- and boot-making without enrollment in our secondary Classical school, Collegium Kingsgate. Instruction will be led by skilled shoemakers.

Prerequisite experience – Leatherworking 101 class or equivalent.

Helpful experience – “St. Hugh’s Bones” tool maintenance class, or equivalent.

NOTE: Individual instruction is offered on an ad hoc basis, rather than through regularly-scheduled classes.  Please contact The Fellowship for more details.
