About Us

The Fellowship of Arts & Mysteries, Ltd., and its secondary school, Collegium Kingsgate, offer a unique educational approach combining Classical education and traditional apprenticed trades. This philosophy recognizes that just as two rivers converge to form a mightier one, the merging of these two educational streams shaped the Judæo-Christian West. By reuniting Classical learning with hands-on trades, the school provides a strong alternative to modern post-Christian educational models.

Our School

Collegium Kingsgate is a Classical and Ecclesiastical academy which combines excellence in academic learning with traditional, apprenticed trades. It aims to foster wisdom, Christian values, and a love for Truth, Goodness, and Beauty, through a blend of the Classic liberal arts and practical craftsmanship. Alongside initiatives to support our community and to provide hands-on learning experiences, Kingsgate also emphasizes the fine arts – offering activities like fencing, dancing, and painting – as well as the common arts – e.g., gardening, beekeeping, animal husbandry, ecological stewardship, and more.

Help Lay Foundation Stones

Donations to The Fellowship/Kingsgate are essential to support our educational programs and outreach efforts. Contributions help fund scholarships for families in need, develop new classes, and expand opportunities for hands-on learning in traditional trades and “the common arts.” Donations also support the establishment of local partnerships, community engagement projects, and potential revenue streams through on-site and online retail, all aimed at enriching the community and preserving these valuable skills for future generations.

Testimonials

“The two days I spent crafting my portmanteau flew by. The atmosphere was relaxing, offering me a chance to learn new skills and create something truly unique.”

Participant, "Leatherwork 201"
"The broom-making class provides a wealth of information, giving enough time to leave with a finished broom. It sounds dramatic to say that this broom has changed my life, but as a mother who is always sweeping, I love that a beautiful piece of art can outperform any of my store-brought brooms."
Cassandra
Participant, "Broom-Corn to Corn-Broom"
"My daughter is naturally gifted at and loves all manner of craft, so she and I took the broom-making and leatherworking classes together as a father-daughter experience. My daily work in the digital world convinces me that this kind of learning - creating something real, truly useful, and truly beautiful - is essential to human development. It is indeed a pure joy for its own sake."

Father of a teen participant
"As a classical educator, professional musician, and mother of six, I well know the effectiveness and beauty of classical discipleship, with its emphasis on mastery and hands-on experience in a supportive, Christ-centered environment. I am thrilled to see Kingsgate embracing this philosophy, forming the hearts and minds of this generation. It is a pleasure to partner with The Fellowship, and to help with getting Kingsgate established."
